February 17th is my last year in this half of the century so with a little inspiration from my excellent friend Fancy Nancy, we’re going to be dancing in Tutus! 🙂 We’ll be having a regular class but with Lights Out just for an extra special splash of fun. The more fun you have getting dressed up, the sillier time we are going to have! We’re looking around for somewhere that we can go out to afterwards for something to eat. Please let me know if you are interested in joining us!
There are some tutu’s to be had at the Claire’s in Hillside Mall, but they are extremely limited and can be purchased from $5-$20. GET THERE SOON! You can follow this easy guide on WikiHow that shows you how to make a no sew tutu including a video.
As a gift to me (or you can bring me one too!) I’m inviting you to bring a donation to the Viatech Food Bank Challenge that I am taking part in this year. Points are earned based on low demand items (1 point), high demand items (2 points) and cash (5 points).
High demand items are: Peanut Butter, Canned Veggies, Dried Peas and Beans, Canned Meat and Fish, Dry Pasta (not KD), Rice, Canned and Dried Fruit, Pablum, Baby Food, Formula, Disposable Diapers. Low demand items are everything else and are still needed!
I can’t wait to spend my birthday with all of you and look forward to the amazing night of frivolous fun and outrageous danging in tutus…
PS: If you know of a business that would like to join the Viatech Food Bank Challenge happening the month of February, please let me know 🙂
